The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource to employees and management on a variety of human resource topics. This role will handle day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and policy development to support the organizations mission and goals. This role can start out as Part Time while attending school. What Youll Do Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate full-cycle recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers. Conduct new-hire orientations and ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Employee Relations Act as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution. Promote a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives. Benefits Administration Manage employee benefits enrollment, changes, and communications. Work with vendors to address employee benefits questions and issues. Compliance & Policy Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Support audits and prepare reports as required. Performance & Development Assist managers with performance review processes and coaching. Coordinate training and development opportunities for employees. HR Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS. Prepare HR metrics and reports for leadership as needed. Requirements

What You Will Bring: Skills and Competencies Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Graduating Senior or up to 4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity. Preferred Skills Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) a plus.
