Pessoa Analytics Engineer Pl/Sr.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the data discipline at the company in collaboration with the Analytics Engineering team, contributing to generating value in different business areas and transforming data into possibilities to take the success of our schools and students to a new level. You will contribute to the development of our data warehouse, implementing pipelines and working in collaboration with business users, data platform engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers. We have a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented culture, and we will continuously work on your development. This is a senior or full-level position, so we are looking for people with several years of experience working as a data engineer or analytics engineer. It is essential that you have experience and solid knowledge in at least some of the following items, but not all: Implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of data pipelines Advanced SQL Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (e.g., KPIs, OKRs, etc.) Analytical data modeling (e.g., star schema, snowflake, and data vault) Analytical architecture techniques (e.g., Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh, etc.) Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase, Power BI, etc.) Good communication skills to deal with technical and business stakeholders Conducting alignments with stakeholders: ability to articulate with different areas to understand business needs, present solutions, and validate deliverables. Orchestration of workflows with Airflow, Luigi, Azkaban, DBT, or Dataform Python, Scala, Java, or Go (at least one language) It is not essential, but it will be a plus if you have experience with some of these items: Continuous integration, continuous development, continuous testing Knowledge of distributed processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, Beam.
