Deliver Level 1 functional support for internal and external trading applications such as Fidessa, Dash, Sophis, and Loanet. Serve as the primary liaison between Front Office traders and IT, building trusted relationships and understanding their workflows. Respond promptly to user inquiries and support requests, ensuring timely issue resolution and proper incident tracking. Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from traders and stakeholders to assist in developing new application features and enhancements. Conduct thorough testing of new functionalities, bug fixes, and system upgrades to ensure they meet business needs and operate correctly. Provide user training and create clear documentation to enhance application understanding and usability. Collaborate with IT Development teams locally and at Head Office to prioritize tasks, communicate requirements, and support implementation efforts. Monitor application performance and proactively address any issues impacting user experience or operational efficiency. Regularly update stakeholders and management on the status of support incidents, ongoing projects, and system changes. Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and industry best practices. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Experience in IT business analysis or IT support within Equity Derivatives Front Office environments. Strong understanding of Equity Derivatives products, trade workflows, pricing, and risk management. Familiarity with trade execution platforms like Fidessa, Dash, and EMSX. Experience with external systems such as Markitwire, Sophis, and Loanet is preferred. Knowledge of SQL and Agile methodologies is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with Front Office teams. Strong multitasking, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
