Job Summary The Coordinator plays a vital role in driving revenue and donor engagement through the Societys Endurance campaigns: Bike MS, Challenge Walk MS, and Finish MS. This role collaborates with internal teams and volunteers to ensure seamless logistics, compelling participant experiences, and strong community engagement. The coordinator focuses on detail, communication, and donor stewardship to advance the organizations mission through successful events. Primary Responsibilities Donor, Volunteer & Vendor Coordination: Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling; serve as the main contact for volunteers, providing clear communication to ensure engagement. Support vendor coordination (e.g., t-shirts, medals, jerseys), including inventory management and timely delivery of event materials. Cultivate, solicit, and steward a small personal donor portfolio as needed. Lead in-kind needs for the market. Event Planning & Execution Support: Assist in regional event planning, execution, and volunteer recruitment in collaboration with the Director and Assistant Director. Provide onsite staffing support for events to ensure seamless participant experiences. Develop event materials like donor briefings, run sheets, layouts, and participant/volunteer lists. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with regional development coordinators on event and cultivation initiatives. Collaborate with development teams to promote adherence to SOPs for efficiency. Develop SOPs to support team workflows and ensure consistent donor experiences. What We're Looking For 1+ year of administrative, fundraising, or customer service experience, preferably in a nonprofit or development setting. Strong organizational skills with calendar management, deadline tracking, and record keeping. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with donor databases or CRMs is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Discretion in handling confidential information. Supportive of event logistics, donor mailings, and general office tasks. Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Location Requirement This is a market-based role supporting the Upper Midwest Chapter, located in Minneapolis or St. Paul, MN. Regular in-person attendance at meetings and events is required, with travel up to 50%. The rest of the work can be done remotely from home or a Society workspace. Compensation & Benefits The estimated salary range is $48,000-$54,000, based on location and experience. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401(k) with match, health coverage, and more.
