The Senior Estimator will: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand the scope of work. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data for estimates. Identify potential risks and opportunities in project bids and provide recommendations to the team. Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate pricing information. Participate in contract negotiations and value engineering discussions as needed. Provide support during project handovers to ensure a smooth transition to the operations team. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and labor costs to improve estimating accuracy.
