Overview
Executive Assistant role at PEAK6 Capital Management. PEAK6 is a proprietary options trading firm with 25+ years of industry experience, headquartered in Chicago. The team leverages technology, financial acumen, and risk management to provide liquidity to the options market. The role reports to the Sr Executive Assistant and Program Manager and is onsite at our Chicago HQ. Responsibilities
Provide administrative support primarily for the CEO, CTO, and Chief Strategy Officer, including calendar management, travel and expenses, project coordination, team event coordination, and meeting management. Serve as a central point of contact for Capital Management leaders, supporting day-to-day operations and anticipating administrative needs. Coordinate and prepare meetings by managing schedules, drafting agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items. Maintain excellent organization, time management, multitasking, and attention to detail; exercise professional discretion with confidential matters. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills. Partner with Shared Services, portfolio company leadership, and the broader administrative team to streamline communication and deliver seamless support. Organize team and office-wide events to foster positive culture and collaboration. Serve as a point of contact for questions, issue resolution, and requests directed toward Capital Management. Lead and coordinate Capital Management’s philanthropic activities in partnership with the Philanthropy team, including planning, promoting, and executing in-office and community events. Your Experience
2-3 years of relevant experience supporting an office, multiple teams, or executives. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Experience in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multitasking. Experience working with internal administrative and executive teams. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Proven work ethic, initiative, and responsibility with the energy to tackle new projects. Proficiency in G-Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and calendar management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
