James Hardie is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our Executive Leadership Team. This role offers exposure to senior leaders, involvement in strategic initiatives, and a path in corporate operations. What You’ll Do
Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior executives, helping them stay focused and effective. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics across time zones. Organize domestic and international travel, including itineraries and documentation. Prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and follow up on action items. Assist in creating polished presentations and communications for leadership meetings and town halls. Coordinate internal events, offsites, and leadership forums — from planning to execution. Liaise with teams across the organization to gather updates and align priorities. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Offer ideas to improve administrative processes and team efficiency. Occasionally support reception and other administrative needs across the office. What You’ll Bring
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in executive-level administrative support. Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint). Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone. Judgment & Initiative: Ability to make sound decisions independently, prioritize effectively, and pivot quickly when needed. Organization: Impeccable attention to detail and time management; thrives on juggling multiple priorities. Professionalism: Calm under pressure, discreet with sensitive information, and consistently polished in interactions. As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $35.00 to $40.00 per hour. Placement in the range depends on experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits, and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
