This is a full-time on-site role for a Photo and Video Director located in Irvine, CA.
The Photo and Video Director will lead and oversee all aspects of video direction, video production, film production, and digital video projects. Responsibilities include video editing, coordinating with team members, managing production schedules, ensuring high-quality content delivery, and maintaining brand consistency. The role demands creativity, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsible for producing our creative (i.e. stills, PDP video, etc.) for use in e-commerce, packaging, social media and marketing. Day-to-day, this role has the responsibility for planning, coordinating and executing creative production from request through final delivery of assets. Depending on the season, this professional is managing 10-20 brands and/or projects in various stages of workflow at one time. Candidate should have an appreciation of brand management, possess strong communication skills, project and time management skills, and work well with others. Must have experience with consumer products. Agency experience is a plus. Responsibilities
Product Photography and Videography:
Create stunning product imagery for use across a variety of channels. Develop unique and tailored looks for each product line, ensuring that each product’s identity and target audience are effectively represented. Prop Sourcing & Styling:
Have a strong eye for selecting complementary items, backgrounds, and textures that align with each product line’s branding and narrative. Brand Consistency:
Maintain a deep understanding of the various product lines\' branding and messaging. Edit and retouch photos and videos using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) to ensure final product is polished and meets brand and platform standards. Set up and manage the in-office studio, lighting, and background elements. Execute off-site shoots as needed. Ensure that deadlines are met within the established budget. Project and Asset Management:
Manage requests and processes with internal and external teams with respect to content creation. Manage asset libraries accordingly. Stay on Trend:
Keep up to date with industry trends in photography, styling, and visual storytelling. Attend on-location photoshoots, video shoots, industry trade shows, events, sales meetings, and presentations as necessary. Any other task or duty as assigned or required as it pertains to this department and this role Job Qualifications/Requirements
BA in Graphic Design or related field 5+ years of relevant work experience Must have experience with consumer products Agency experience is a plus Expert level Adobe Creative Suite knowledge Experience with product (CPG) photography / videography Experience with prop sourcing and styling Knowledge of eCommerce and social media content creation best practices Ability to work both in studio and on-location settings Ability to manage a project from connect to completion with attention to detail Experience with project management software (Mondays, Jira, etc.) Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment Physical Activities
