Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of calcified plaque. This role supports the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) for complex calcified cardiovascular disease and requires collaboration with physicians and hospital stakeholders. Position overview and responsibilities below describe the Territory Manager’s duties, including case coverage in catheter laboratories and collaboration with clinical and cross-functional teams. Essential Job Functions

Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Shockwave products to hospital personnel and physicians. Meet with physicians and hospital staff to determine customer needs, goals, product usage, and case types. Educate customers on products and proper clinical usage through presentations and demonstrations. Attend procedures in hospital operating rooms to advise on product usage and capture insights into physician and OR needs. Achieve sales/revenue objectives for the territory and meet quota while delivering exceptional customer service. Partner with Clinical, Field Clinical Reps, Marketing, R&D and other units to identify opportunities and present to potential clients. Conduct consultative sales calls with Interventional Cardiologists and Vascular Surgeons. Build and maintain strong customer relationships and speak clinically to physicians at a high level. Complete and submit timely reports (sales summaries, expenses, monthly product tracking, account targeting, complaint reports) per procedures and policies. Maintain ethical standards and comply with corporate policies, FDA, medical device, quality standards. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years’ territory management experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred); may substitute 3 years’ cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience. Successful sales experience in catheter technology with endovascular, atherectomy, stent, and peripheral influence preferred but not required. Ability to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales plans. Ability to manage time, resources, and budget within the territory with near-term plans to achieve objectives. Must not be debarred by FDA for work in any Medical Device business. Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, hospitals, and physicians; obtain new users for company products and services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Must have a valid driver’s license; capable of working independently or as part of a team; flexible to changing requirements.
