Every blockbuster lineup needs a strong supporting cast and that's where our Director of Alternative Content steps in. This role is all about bringing unique stories to the big screen, from event cinema spectacles and fan-favorite screenings to global festival hits and world cinema gems. You'll turn strategic acquisitions into show-stopping programming, ensuring that every piece of alternative content finds its spotlight and captivates audiences. As Regal's creative and operational lead for Alternative Content, you'll partner with Film, Marketing, and Operations to make sure non-traditional and international programming is scheduled flawlessly, promoted effectively, and delivered seamlessly across our theatres nationwide. Responsibilities

Execute programming plans for Alternative Content, Event Cinema, and World Cinema titles. Oversee nationwide rollouts of Regal Entertainment Distribution content, ensuring scheduling, delivery, and site-level execution. Partner with Marketing to provide assets, metadata, and copy for Regal.com, our mobile app, CRM, and social channels. Coordinate in-theatre and online promotions, fan events, premieres, and community activations. Collaborate with Operations and Theatre Management to ensure readiness, including staffing, concessions tie-ins, and technology needs. Track KPIs like presales velocity, admissions per screen, occupancy, ATP, attach rates, and guest satisfaction. Conduct post-event analysis to measure ROI and audience engagement, providing actionable insights to leadership. Serve as Regal's operational liaison with distributors, agencies, and content creators. Build and maintain partner relationships to ensure smooth execution and future collaborations.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of film, event cinema, and international content markets. Proven experience in programming execution for Alternative Content, Event Cinema, or World Cinema. Excellent organizational and project management skills with a sharp eye for detail. Strong analytical ability and comfort interpreting KPIs and financial performance. Collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Bachelor's degree preferred (Film Studies, Communications, Media Management, Business, or related). 3+ years of experience in film programming, theatrical distribution, event cinema, or festival operations.
