Overview
Marketing Data and Operations Specialist (Contract) at Palo Alto Networks. This is a contract assignment through a staffing partner. Location: USA – Remote. Duration: 4 months. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the list upload team, including workflow prioritization, task management, and ensuring adherence to service level agreements. Manage the end-to-end list upload process, including data validation, coordination with internal stakeholders, and executing uploads to marketing systems. Ensure data quality and system accuracy by analyzing and formatting data, uploading to Marketo, and performing post-upload QA checks in both Marketo and Salesforce. Track and report on key metrics related to list uploads, agency performance, and database health. Analyze, format, and update Excel spreadsheets to ensure accurate data entry into marketing systems within established SLAs. Verify accurate and complete information provided from the marketing team and follow up on incomplete submissions. Communicate and track tickets and requests in Jira and Asana. Upload cleaned/formatted data to Marketo and perform QA data entry in Marketo and Salesforce post-upload. Work closely with marketing managers and operations teams to streamline processes. Support the MarTech team with on-off projects within Marketo to increase system efficiency and performance. Qualifications
5+ years on a B2B marketing team; experience managing an agency or external vendors is highly preferred. 3+ years of experience with Salesforce and Marketo required (Eloqua, HubSpot also acceptable). 5+ years of Excel/data-entry experience; advanced competency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets to analyze and format data. History of using Excel formulas and macros to create streamlined data formatting. Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills. Ability to be resourceful in handling ambiguous situations or requests. Experience with traditional and Agile project management methods (e.g., SCRUM). Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects and demonstrate excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English. Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Compensation
The base pay range for this contract is $49.00/hr. Compensation offered will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. The posting notes Magnit (staffing partner) pay range: $45/hour to $49/hour. Benefits may include Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K as provided by the staffing partner.
