Role Description As the Senior Vertical Marketing Lead, you will serve as a pseudo “CMO” for your vertical and become the go-to expert on customer needs, pain points, and the industry landscape. You will play an integral role in Podium’s acquisition efforts, crafting marketing strategies and executing them to cost-effectively drive new customers from your vertical. The ideal candidate is an action-oriented, strategic marketer who uses data-informed decision making to solve ambiguous problems and drive results. You should have strong critical thinking, a customer-centric mindset, and a track record of building growth-focused strategies. What You Will Be Doing Own the Strategy & Hit Revenue Goals: Build and own a comprehensive, cost-effective marketing strategy for your assigned vertical to hit or exceed Podium’s bookings targets. Develop a roadmap and execute strategy across channels such as go-to-market Partnerships, Influencer marketing, external trade publications, Facebook groups, forums, and threads. Attract prospects by creating and disseminating content and webinars on highly relevant topics while continuously analyzing performance to maximize new customer growth. Drive our Partner Network: Develop and execute high-impact partner marketing campaigns to convert prospects into paying customers, and build a pipeline of influencers to serve as Podium evangelists. Understand the Customer: Put the customer at the core of your work—identify pain points, understand business operations, determine the best channels to reach them, and craft messaging that resonates. Share strategic insights across marketing and the broader organization to shape go-to-market approach. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Product, Support, and other leaders to align vertical efforts and build campaigns that resonate with customers and prospects. Content Leadership: Create vertical-specific collateral, trade show playbooks, UGC-style videos (with the help of the creative team), and other marketing documents for partners, influencers, and trade shows. Ensure messaging is tuned to the target audience. What You Should Have 8-12 years of experience in demand generation, lead generation, or similar marketing roles, preferably in B2B SaaS Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content strategy, and campaign execution Bias toward action and a passion to build and execute marketing strategies that drive bookings with minimal hand-holding Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Tableau and SQL to drive data-driven insights Customer-centric mindset and ability to empathize with customers Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams Interest in owning multiple marketing channels and creating conversion-oriented content To apply: Apply now.
