Director of Social Media — The Kraft Group & Affiliates The mission of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) is to win the hearts and minds of non-Jews and Jews through powerful positive messaging and partnerships, motivating and equipping them to be defenders of and upstanders for Jews. FCAS focuses on spreading the Blue Square and associated programs to spur action by people of all backgrounds. Working with a network of partners, FCAS leverages unique monitoring technology to drive effective rapid response to Jewish hate and all hate, in addition to proactive programs that galvanize popular support for the Jewish community. The Director of Social Media will lead the strategy, execution, and performance measurement of paid and organic digital media efforts across FCAS’s social media handles (@standuptojewishhate and @whatsupwithhate). This role is central to building an in-house center of excellence for media and analytics, enhancing the organization’s ability to retain and grow its digital audience—particularly among Gen Z. The ideal candidate is both a strategist and a hands-on practitioner, comfortable developing big-picture plans and diving into campaign performance dashboards. Duties And Responsibilities
Media Strategy & Execution: Lead the paid and organic social media strategy across platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and audience insights. Manage and execute paid media buys in-house, optimizing performance and budget efficiency. Identify opportunities for testing, real-time optimization, and innovation in media placements and formats. Stay ahead of platform updates, digital trends, and emerging technologies relevant to social media and digital engagement and recommend necessary changes to media strategy and execution. Analytics & Performance Measurement: Develop and maintain robust measurement frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards to evaluate the success of campaigns across digital channels. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategy and creative direction. Drive a culture of learning by sharing performance insights and best practices across the organization. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead the transition of key media and analytics functions from agency to in-house, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (content, design, community management), external partners and FCAS teams to drive unified, effective campaigns. Lead a growing social media team through active supervision, coaching and resource management to support and ensure all departmental goals are achieved. Strategic Influence: Provide thought leadership and innovation to elevate FCAS’s approach to digital engagement. Represent digital media and analytics in senior-level strategy sessions and planning meetings. Contribute to the broader vision of marketing transformation by identifying and implementing best practices in measurement and ROI analysis. Special projects and assignments as business dictates. Maintain, create, and control all personally identifiable information or other information protected by confidentiality or privacy standards or company policies that you access, including state or federal regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Social Media Manager Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, public relations, or related discipline 8–10 years of experience in digital media strategy, execution, and analytics (agency or in-house) Advanced proficiency in marketing analytics platforms, media planning tools, and CRM/integrated marketing systems Proven experience managing paid social media campaigns (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and analytics tools Deep understanding of media planning and buying across digital platforms Strong quantitative and storytelling skills—able to extract insights and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders Experience managing or collaborating with creative, content, and community management teams Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills Passion for innovation, experimentation, and pushing the boundaries of digital engagement Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and focused concentration Ability to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and be responsive Ability to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow Ability to adhere to process protocol and apply established protocols in a timely manner Physical Demands
