Overview
Real Chemistry is seeking a Director, Social to join our Activation team. This role leads social strategy across healthcare accounts, collaborating with creative, influencer relations, paid activation, intelligence and brand strategy to drive action and impact.
Who are you? You have deep experience leading channel, content and activation strategies at scale across current and emerging platforms. You’re fluent in social strategy, content performance, trends, storytelling, moving fast and having fun.
What you'll do:
Act as day-to-day social media lead across multiple healthcare accounts as part of an integrated team; advise on planning and execution of integrated social campaigns, multichannel content development and distribution, paid social counsel, and campaign strategy across the marketing funnel; drive awareness, consideration, organic content and engagement; influencer activations; social listening, analytics and results reporting for several clients.
Maintain knowledge of social platforms and trends; guide clients and account teams; lead with vision on social landscape and best practices.
Drive adoption of emerging channel opportunities balanced by cultural insights and data.
Work with in-house data scientists and analysts to provide competitive social performance insights, inform content strategy, and communicate measurement opportunities.
Build and lead social budgets, collaborate with internal teams and senior leaders to optimize mix; support scopes of work and supervise paid budgets.
Identify opportunities for integrated social and digital programs and present growth opportunities to clients.
Mentor and develop the social team.
Team/Location This is a hybrid role based in US offices or remote within the US, depending on team and business needs.

What you should have:
Minimum 7+ years of experience, ideally in health or pharmaceutical social media with agency experience.
Experience leading social media content programs with creative/production partners.
Proficiency with social technologies and platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, CMS, monitoring and measurement tools).
Understanding of FDA/FTC regulations for biotech/pharma social efforts.
Familiarity with web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and working with web teams on integrated campaigns.
Agency client service experience; ability to grow social business and participate in new business pitches.
Experience leading and mentoring junior staff; strong written and oral communications.
Pay Range:
$119,000-$145,000
