Position Summary:
The Apprentice Facilities Electrician will support the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, devices, and equipment in the plant. This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to build their skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced electricians and maintenance professionals.
What you will Do:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, devices, and equipment.

Learn and support basic building maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

Shadow experienced team members to gain hands-on training in troubleshooting and repair.

Help conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities; report any hazards or abnormalities.

Maintain accurate logs of tasks completed and parts used.

Support general facility upkeep, including grounds care, snow/ice removal, and minor building repairs.

Ensure all work complies with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Operate and care for tools, equipment, and materials used in daily work.

Participate in emergency response situations under supervision.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the Facilities team.
Minimum Qualifications:

Interest in pursuing a career in electrical or maintenance trades.

Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge ; willingness to learn required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Ability to work in a cold, wet, and fast-paced 24/7 plant environment.

Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks.

Basic computer skills for logging work and accessing training.

High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical coursework a plus.
