As an EPCM Project Management Director, you’ll join our collaborative team delivering planning, engineering, architectural design, procurement, construction management, and design-build project delivery. You will lead a team in developing and delivering project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules to achieve stakeholder objectives. You’ll provide day-to-day management of teams, staff recruitment and development, and financial and technical performance on projects. You’ll mentor other PMs and Project Engineers and build strong relationships with internal teams and clients. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems and ensuring successful delivery of advanced facilities construction projects. Lead and manage EPCM projects related to industrial facilities, with a focus on Life Sciences. Develop and deliver on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules. Provide day‑to‑day management of teams, including recruitment and development. Monitor and report financial and technical performance; manage design budgets and forecasting; apply earned value management. Mentor PMs and Project Engineers; set direction for project teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure safety culture in design, office, and project-site locations. Coordinate multi-office project execution and manage interfaces across disciplines. Support proposal development and client needs analysis; help define solutions. Travel to project locations for short-term visits as required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; or equivalent experience. At least 15 years of experience managing EPCM projects related to industrial facilities, with a minimum of 5 years in Life Science. Experience mentoring other PMs and Project Engineers. Strong safety culture and awareness. Experience in multi-office project execution. General engineering knowledge relevant to Life Science projects (infrastructure, process, utilities, and support facilities). Strong experience in design project cost management, including forecasting and earned value. Experience developing proposals, estimating design services hours, and collaborating with clients to meet needs. Program Management experience covering Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, and Commissioning (EPCM). Preferred: CCM, PE, PMP, or Architect license/certification. Knowledge of design and construction, building systems, contract management, environmental and LEED considerations, and client relationship building. Experience with Life Science facility design valued above $500 million is a plus. Ability to travel for short-term client-site visits (possibly international).
