We are looking for a Director to shape the future of digital transformation across the Americas and lead a team driving innovation in data strategy, advanced analytics, and AI solutions. In this pivotal role, you will define and execute the roadmap for data and AI initiatives, mentor a high-performing team, and serve as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and clients. You’ll spearhead the development of cutting-edge AI models and analytics tools, represent GHD at industry events, and publish thought leadership that showcases our transformative capabilities. Your work will translate complex data into actionable insights and measurable outcomes to influence client success. Our hybrid work model combines in-office collaboration and flexibility with in-office presence three days a week. This role offers collaboration across sectors, integration of data-driven strategies into go-to-market efforts, and leadership in responsible AI practices. Responsibilities

Needs assessment: Engage with senior business leaders to understand long-term strategic challenges. Improvement/innovation: Develop and deliver change management plans and achieve outcomes supporting the organization’s strategy. Policy development and implementation: Develop a comprehensive policy framework for a significant area of the business and oversee its implementation. Recommendations: Provide integrated, long-term solutions and strategies for a significant area of responsibility, such as a function. Solutions analysis: Develop strategic solutions to long-term business needs by anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities. Practice leadership: Define and develop the standard of excellent practice, aligned with national frameworks, standards, and legislation; bring best practices from research and legislative changes. Leadership and direction: Communicate the function\'s strategy and its relationship to the organization\'s mission, vision, and values; motivate others to achieve the organization\'s goals. Organizational capability building: Identify capabilities needed to meet current and emerging business needs; evaluate gaps and prioritize development activities; mentor and build capabilities elsewhere in the organization. Product and solution development: Develop and deliver a major part of the organization\'s product development program. Bid solicitation/RFP/tender analysis: Set strategic direction and develop policies and procedures for feasibility studies on bid requirements and manage information for decision-making in tendering processes. Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of experience in data analytics, AI, and/or machine learning, with proven success in value-based initiatives Expertise in consulting with private and public clients to unpack needs and performance measures, collaborate on holistic solution scenarios, decision support and full implementation Strong knowledge of data architecture, governance, and modern data platforms (cloud, big data, IoT) Ability to direct and apply the use of analytics tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL), cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau) Expertise with AI branches including ML, NLP, Computer Vision, Robotics and Expert Systems is preferred Experience with CRM analytics, pricing optimization, and sales enablement tools preferred Certifications in AI, data strategy, or digital transformation preferred Experience implementing enterprise-level data platforms and analytics governance frameworks preferred As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
