Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a division of ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Special Education team and perform meaningful work in a student-centered, outcomes-focused environment. Starting salary: $85,000 - $120,000/year plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Environment: Special Education Program, Grades K-12. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide high-quality speech therapy services customized to meet the individual diagnoses and needs of designated students. This includes direct instruction, prescriptive evaluation, consulting with families and school district representatives, writing IEP goals and interventions, monitoring progress, attending IEP meetings, and collaborating with educational teams to enhance students\' communication skills and overall development. Responsibilities

Evaluating students’ communication strengths and needs to design and implement individualized, evidence-based speech therapy programs aligned with collaborative goals developed with educators and families. Monitoring student progress using data-driven methods and providing updates reflecting each student\'s goals and milestones. Using age-appropriate therapy techniques to strengthen speech, language, cognitive, and memory skills within naturalistic environments tailored to each child. Writing comprehensive, timely progress reports to inform interdisciplinary team discussions and adapting therapy services to optimize outcomes. Maintaining case records and documentation in accordance with agency policies and state regulations, with regular updates for accuracy. Submitting accurate billing documentation within 24 hours of each client interaction to uphold operational efficiency. Establishing clear, respectful communication with families to coordinate scheduling and make-up sessions as needed. Communicating practical strategies with parents and service providers to support carryover of goals into home and school routines. Conducting thorough clinical assessments and recommending appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence. Ensuring timely intake processes and ongoing evaluation of therapy plans and progress toward clinical performance indicators. Facilitating staff trainings, sharing current best practices, and mentoring team members to build clinical proficiency. Collaborating with clients and families to foster strong therapeutic relationships that support goal achievement and long-term communication success. Providing clinical guidance and supervision in home and community-based settings to ensure program fidelity. Partnering with multidisciplinary professionals—including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educational psychologists—for integrated care planning. Performing additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to a positive team culture and effective service delivery. Qualifications

Master\'s degree or higher in speech pathology or a closely related field. Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a speech language pathology (SLP) credential. Valid CA state driver’s license or ability to obtain one. Experience or knowledge in providing speech language therapy in educational or behavioral health settings. Experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with severe learning, developmental, emotional/behavioral disorders, autism, and related disabilities. Proven success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for students with diverse needs. Strong ability to motivate students and engage in critical conversations to move toward goals. Ability to build relationships with students, families, teachers, and community/district partners. Strong oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of relevant technology including instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic office equipment. Benefits
