Health Actuary- Manager role at PwC. This position is within the Benefits practice of People and Organisation Consulting services, focusing on evaluating and managing health and welfare and retirement benefits programmes for clients, including active and retiree plan performance, vendor strategy, financial reporting, and cost driver analysis. Responsibilities

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Develop new skills outside of comfort zone. As a PwC Healthcare Consulting Actuary, you will be part of our growing team that provides strategic, analytic and technical support to payer and provider clients in a evolving healthcare sector. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree Minimum Years Of Experience: 5 year(s) Preferred Qualifications Degree Preferred: Master Degree Fields Of Study: Actuarial Science, Mathematical Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, Public Policy Analysis, Economics, Finance, Mathematical Statistics, Statistics Certifications Preferred: ASA Designation Preferred Knowledge/Skills Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the Payer and/or Provider industries including actuarial pricing, underwriting, health plan financial reporting, data analysis, and risk adjustment. Interpreting and applying regulatory requirements to meet compliance and strategic objectives. Entrepreneurial capability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and continuously innovate processes and products. Additional capabilities include managing multiple projects, developing others, working with management and senior executives, understanding actuarial aspects of healthcare programs, analyzing medical claim data for historical trends and savings opportunities, and applying predictive analytics to improve revenue and coding procedures. The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $232,000, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, location and applicable employment laws.
