Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing advanced imaging techniques such as SPECT/CT and PET/CT for clinical trial research, with a focus on maintaining high safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
Perform SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging for clinical trial research. Order, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for clinical trial participants. Conduct Quality Control assessments on SPECT/CT and PET/CT systems and nuclear medicine instrumentation, such as dose calibrators. Ensure adherence to safety standards and accurately record the usage and handling of radioactive materials in compliance with Nuclear Regulatory requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Completion of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology Program. Registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT) or NMTCB (CT). Experience in performing SPECT/CT and PET/CT studies, preferably in a research setting. Ability to perform instrumentation and quality control, with knowledge of radiation safety. Effective communication skills to collaborate within multi-disciplinary team settings. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-oriented. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with patients affected by neurological disorders, such as Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease. Experience working with Investigational New Drug (IND) PET research agents. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proven track record of producing high-quality research imaging with minimal supervision. Solid understanding of clinical research, GCP, GDP, and other regulations. Strong leadership, management, and training skills. Work Environment
