Job Details 1 week of call coverage per month (24 hour call) 7am-7am. BC/BE. ERCP/EUS is a plus but not required. About 12-15 consults per day. Support staff - 2 MDs, 3 APPs.

Responsibilities

Conducting consultations with patients to understand their health concerns and symptoms related to the digestive system.

Performing a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and ERCP procedures to diagnose conditions.

Analyzing patient medical histories and diagnostic test results to provide accurate diagnoses.

Developing, implementing, and reviewing treatment plans, ensuring they are in line with patients\' needs and preferences.

Qualifications

A Medical Degree from an accredited institution.

Board Certification in Gastroenterology.

A minimum of 2+ years of experience in gastroenterology, with a focus on ERCP procedures and general GI practices.

Excellent diagnostic skills with a patient-centric approach to care.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.

Current and valid license to practice medicine in the state.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary.
