Overview
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, seeks candidates for an open rank, open track, Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its expanding Cardiology Division and direct the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention program. Rank and tenure status will be determined depending upon qualifications. The incumbent will be responsible for providing general, non-invasive, cardiovascular services, with an emphasis on inpatient and outpatient general cardiology. The candidates will actively participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff. Opportunities for research that is commensurate with experience and interest may be accommodated. Responsibilities
Provide general, non-invasive cardiovascular services with emphasis on inpatient and outpatient care. Direct the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention program within the Division. Participate actively in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff. Engage in research opportunities commensurate with experience and interest as available. Qualifications
MD or equivalent degree. Board-certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine by the appointment start date. Employment details
