Overview Data Conversion Consultant works on Workday deployment projects, focusing on the successful implementation of Data Conversion processes to support deployments. You will work closely with the client project team to extract legacy data, transform data to Workday standards, and load it into Workday. This role requires proficiency in Workday's Implementation methodology, familiarity with Workday tooling, and strong partnership with customers to deliver successful data conversions. About The Role A Data Conversion Consultant is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s Data Conversion processes on customer projects, establishing and championing best practices for deployments. This role spans Workday’s Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) & Professional Services (PS) industries and covers Human Capital Management and Financials domains. Experience with all domains is not required but is a plus. Packaged HRMS/Financial systems experience is preferred. You will be the primary point of contact for data conversion between the project team and customers. About You Work directly with customers, functional consultants, and integration consultants to establish conversion approach, complete configuration migration, and load customer data into Workday. Understand technical data conversion issues, resolve issues, and communicate solutions. Become a functional expert in one or more Workday functional areas (e.g., HRMS, Payroll, Financials). Assist customers with data extracts, explain the conversion process, define data requirements, and ensure data quality in legacy systems for the data conversion cycle. Demonstrate strong customer focus and consulting skills to enable successful engagements and customer satisfaction. Basic Qualifications Senior Technical Consultant (P4): 5+ years of experience in enterprise software data conversion; 5+ years in HR, Payroll, or Financial domains. Principal Technical Consultant (P5): 8+ years of experience in enterprise software data conversion; 8+ years in HR, Payroll, or Financial domains. Other Qualifications Strong technical experience with ETL software, SQL, XML, and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with web services; strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience with the complete software project lifecycle and data conversion importance. Experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, NetSuite, Taleo, or other SaaS and On-Premise ERP systems. Past experience in FSI & PS industries. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences. Strong learning agility and ability to adapt to new technologies and solve problems creatively. Comprehensive product knowledge and technical savvy to enhance efficiency and problem-solving. Posting End Date : 10/31/25 Workday Pay Transparency The annual base salary ranges vary by location. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta. Base pay: $116,900 - $175,400. Additional US locations base pay: $111,100 - $197,300. Colorado pay range, if applicable, is $116,900 - $175,400. Compensation may include bonuses or stock grants; final offer based on experience, location, and role. Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, Workday combines in-person and remote work.
