Overview
Senior Product Sales Manager for Rowan Patents, part of the Clarivate team. This role drives the Rowan sales strategy in the field and delivers market expansion for a high-impact product line. You will work with a matrixed sales organization to develop innovative sales pipelines and cultivate high-level customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor through solution presentations, workshops, trials, and proof of concepts. Responsibilities
Serve as a primary contact for the Rowan product line, cultivating and managing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Utilize advanced sales and negotiation techniques to engage with high-value customers, drive market expansion, and address complex challenges while building high-level customer partnerships. Achieve and exceed sales targets in alignment with Clarivate’s sales objectives and contribute to revenue growth. Leverage knowledge of patent preparation and prosecution to support clients (attorneys and paralegals) using Rowan software to draft and prosecute patents; drive software adoption through hands-on client engagement; contribute to best practices for deployment and usage. Continuously deepen industry knowledge and product expertise to maintain a competitive advantage and refine sales planning for commercial success. Acquire a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and defend our solutions against competitors. Provide sales insights, market and customer feedback to senior leadership across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and cross-functional partners; collaborate with product teams to inform future product roadmaps and enhancements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience 7+ years of professional work experience in sales and/or intellectual property or similar 3+ years of IP experience related to patent drafting work Nice to have
Past work experience as a Patent Attorney In-depth knowledge of USPTO patent filing requirements Prior experience selling into law firms and/or corporate legal teams About The Team

You will partner with another sales professional focusing on the growth of the Rowan platform. Hours of Work
This is a full-time remote position with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed. You may travel approximately 50% to meet with clients as needed. Compensation
US Only: The expected base salary for this position is $110,000-$140,000 USD per year with eligibility for commission earnings. Pay is based on experience, education, skill, and ability. You will be eligible to participate in a benefits package that includes medical, dental, prescription drug, life insurance, 401k with match, long-term disability coverage, vacation, sick time, volunteer time, discount programs, and more.
