Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a
Director of Business Development – Hospice Sales
for a leading hospice care provider in Pinellas County, FL. This leadership role combines in-office responsibilities with extensive fieldwork, including ride-alongs, branch visits, and client relationship management. Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6–7 Hospice Sales Consultants to achieve quarterly and annual growth targets. Conduct regular
ride-alongs, branch visits, and client meetings
to support sales efforts and ensure alignment with company goals. Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, and community partners across Pinellas County. Utilize CRM/database systems (e.g., Salesforce) to analyze sales trends, track performance, and identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with the Regional Vice President and Executive Directors on market strategies, territory planning, and performance improvement initiatives. Provide professional development, coaching, and feedback to the sales team to enhance communication, leadership, and client engagement skills. Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and strong communication skills when working with C-Level leadership and healthcare executives. Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of sales management experience in
Hospice, Home Health, or Skilled Nursing . Proven success leading a
team of direct reports
in a healthcare sales environment. Strong CRM/database management experience (Salesforce or similar). Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at the executive level. Preferred:
Bilingual in Spanish (not required). Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
$90,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience) Quarterly Commissions:
20% of bonus structure tied to ADC & Revenue goals Annual Bonus:
