The Business Development Manager, based in the United States and reporting to the Global Head of Business Development, is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company's presence in target markets through strategic client acquisition, revenue-focused relationship management, and improving operational efficiency. This role centers on building profitability by deepening engagement with current clients and actively pursuing new business opportunities. A critical aspect of this position involves field-based activities, ensuring Eon\'s capacity to serve clients on-site and provide timely insight into day-to-day operations. What You'll Do
Analyze client portfolios to identify opportunities for increased profitability and revenue generation, aligning with core sales objectives. Recommend and implement solutions to optimize client operations to impact revenue growth and operational efficiency. Develop and execute targeted strategies to attract and secure new clients, with a primary emphasis on expanding revenue streams. Conduct outreach efforts, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. Cultivate and strengthen client relationships focused on satisfaction, retention, and increased revenue potential. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the current client base and collaborate with operational teams to assess and improve field resource allocation. Develop and implement initiatives to increase field capacity and ensure timely service delivery. Conduct market analysis to uncover industry trends, competitor strategies, and new revenue opportunities. Provide insights to inform strategic decision-making; create and implement sales strategies to achieve defined revenue targets; prepare tailored presentations and proposals for prospective clients. Track sales performance metrics and client engagement, adjusting strategies as needed. Regularly report on KPIs related to sales and revenue targets to senior management. Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to align business development activities with company objectives. Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures per company guidelines and local regulations, and escalate hazards as needed to ensure prompt resolution. Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager to fulfill organizational objectives. What To Bring
5–10 years of professional experience, ideally in sales or business development roles. Proven experience within the Dental Service Organization (DSO) industry. Fluency in English is required. Strong familiarity with the dental markets and ability to engage prospects across regions. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Aligner experience is a plus.
