In this role you will manage all aspects of construction projects, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project execution while leading one or more teams to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with available resources. This position has been designated as on-site working in the Honolulu, HI office, as well as surrounding islands (Maui, Kauai, Big Island). What You Will Do

Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction. Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications. Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary. Meet with contractors and owners to discuss scope of project, budgets, performance, and close-out. Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact. Examine and review contracts and estimates by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans. Ensure compliance with internal contracting processes. Maintain the project budget to forecasted values. Create and revise project schedules including tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, CPM analysis and histogram analysis. Oversee material preparation and vendor orders; record receipt of materials and approve payments. Prepare sub-contractor RFQs including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values. Receive and qualify subcontractor proposals; supervise project staff, subcontractors and installers. Manage project cash-flow: progress billing, collections support and resource management. Manage change orders by recommending solutions, facilitating quotes and closing orders. Ensure quality standards are maintained; maintain customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing corrective actions. Establish professional relationships with field support staff and customers; provide status reports and project reviews. Provide technical support to customers on assigned projects. Document work through daily time, progress, and duration records; maintain files. Provide training and follow-up training at customer sites. Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer. Flexibility to work outside normal hours/weekends as required. Assist in managing EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe workplace, including managing safety data and records. Coordinate shipping and receiving materials, optimizing warehouse stock. What You Will Bring

At least 5 to 8+ years of HVAC/Controls industry experience. A two-year degree from a technical college in a related field with four years of construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Project Management Tools (CPM, PERT, Gantt Charts) is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, current project management tool suites, and PeopleSoft Contracts and Projects. Familiarity with financially guaranteed contracts, energy management systems, HVAC systems, temperature controls, and process control systems is preferred. Strong communication skills and literacy, with appropriate scientific and mathematical knowledge. General working knowledge of basic engineering, electricity, mechanical HVAC systems and the building construction industry. Additional Requirements And Environmental Exposure

Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt. Must wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots. Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction. Must be able to squat and touch the floor with both hands. Must be able to reach hands over the head. Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours. Role is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders; regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 40 lbs., occasionally more than 40 lbs. Must safely use a ladder with a 350 lb weight limit, while carrying equipment of 50 lbs. or less. Must be able to navigate confined spaces, as small as 30" x 45". Must be able to access rooftops with ladders at heights of 15-20 feet and occasionally up to 50+ feet. Role may be exposed to variable weather, moving parts, heights, electrical hazards, noisy equipment and other conditions depending on location.
