Position MANTECH

seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented

Data Scientist

to join our team in

Patuxent River, MD . This is a fulltime

onsite

position.

Responsibilities

Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets

Visualize, interpret, and report data findings

Apply knowledge to develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software

Travel up to 10%

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience performing Data Scientist related work

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or, or a High School Diploma and 9+ years of Data Scientist experience, or an Associate’s degree and 7+ years of data scientist experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Ability to conduct briefings to Senior Military & Civil Service personnel

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs or related organizations

Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) organization and operations

Familiarity with the QLIK, Tableau and Microsoft Power platforms

Clearance Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess and active or current Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

Compensation and Benefits The projected compensation range for this position is $89,800.00-$150,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
