The SharePoint & .Net Solution Engineer will be part of the Risk, Marketing & Admin Systems team which serves the Business Services groups across the firm with solutions to achieve productivity, collaboration and uniformity. We focus on In-House developed solutions, vended solutions and the SharePoint Online platform to support that. The SharePoint & .Net Solution Engineer is responsible for building, enhancing, integrating, supporting and managing the Firm’s key business solutions, primarily using SharePoint Online and Microsoft’s development stack (.Net, ASP.Net, VB.Net, SPFx, MVVM and MVC Patterns, C#). This position encompasses a mixture of project responsibility, software engineering, third party configuration/ integration and senior level support. Responsibilities

Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives for solutions with minimal direction Designs, develops, validates and implements SharePoint based applications to solve complex problems, particularly deployed using SharePoint Online Maintains, enhances and refactors existing SharePoint applications to optimize the portfolio while staying up to date with other dependencies in the technical environment Collaborates with other engineers and administrators to overcome obstacles in a DevOps fashion and deliver efficiency with our solutions Reviews user stories and develops software solutions in short sprints with constant user involvement in an Agile minded team Acts as a mentor to junior team members by reviewing and providing guidance to their work Executes against the development priority list across the various projects and tasks within the portfolios of the Risk, Marketing & Admin Systems team Manages data integration between SharePoint Online applications and third party solutions using various database technologies and/or middleware including but not limited to: stored procedures, SSIS packages, DTS packages, SharePoint Lists or data integration middleware Participates in the maintenance and support of application business recovery plans Ensures internal System Catalog is properly maintained for responsible systems, applications and related integrations Verifies the security of third-party vendor’s applications and collaborates with them to meet security requirements Attends and contributes to team meetings Completes all administrative tasks accurately and on time (time tracking, project and task updates, trouble ticket notes, status reports, responding to email, etc.) Adheres to the Firm’s IT Service Delivery standards and Change Control processes Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives Qualifications

Education/Training/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience is directly related to the functions of the job Professional Experience

Demonstrated experience in delivering SharePoint Online enterprise applications using common web technologies and the SPFx framework Demonstrated experience and understanding of application support and administration, including patching, maintenance and log monitoring Demonstrated experience in building software solutions across a variety of SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) Experience delivering technology in an Agile fashion with iterative and incremental delivery, direct user collaboration, feature driven development, and continuous development Experience working with peer IT teams in a DevOps fashion to improve the computing experience for lawyers and staff Proven ability to work independently and in a team Proficient in Windows OS (client and server), Virtualization, Cloud, network protocols and infrastructure knowledge Proficient with M365 applications including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote and Visio Web development certifications (e.g., MCSD, MCPD, MCTS, MCSA) or related certifications are highly preferred Technical Skills

5+ years of web and SharePoint development experience with the Microsoft Stack (.Net, ASP.Net, VB.Net, SPFx, MVVM and MVC Patterns, C#) 5+ years of proven experience with SQL Server 2019+ including SSRS; thorough understanding of relational databases and integration with other applications 5+ years of proven troubleshooting skills with SharePoint development technologies 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and/or TFS including build/release engineering and pipelines 5+ years of experience with IIS administration (preferred) 5+ years of experience with data integration tools (e.g., IntApp Integrate, BizTalk, MQ Series, Oracle Fusion) (preferred) 5+ years of experience with Power Automate or similar workflow tools (preferred) 5+ years of experience with various scripting languages (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Python, etc.) (preferred) Performance Traits
