What You’ll Do

Groundswell is looking for experienced

Technical Delivery Managers

to provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams, drive implementation success, and act as a trusted advisor to clients. You will mentor delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design, and implement internal processes and tools to improve efficiencies. You will guide on solution delivery and integrate cutting-edge Appian solutions into client architectures.

Our Appian practice is led by Appian alumni with decades of experience delivering mission-critical Appian solutions at scale. You will team up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of creative minds with a smart sense of humor.

What You’ll Be Working On

Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to drive technical success Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their needs and ecosystems Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies Support pre-sales activities to close new business — scope/level of efforts, respond to proposals, prepare SOWs, advise on project approaches, and present methodologies Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement Provide thought leadership on process improvement and delivery practices Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources

How You’ll Excel In Your Role

5+ years of experience with Appian solutions 5+ years of related IT experience Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area Strong experience with Agile delivery Strong integration (data, reporting, etc.) design and development skills Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing Experience with PaaS/SaaS configuration and support processes Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing; active listening to gather information; analytical and strategic foresight Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and work independently or as part of a team Hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote)

Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required

PaaS/SaaS or Low-Code Platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian/Pega/Outsystems/Bizagi) RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) Authentication (e.g. SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP) Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g. RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion) Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Software troubleshooting and performance tuning

Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS

Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification Programming/Scripting (e.g. Java, C++/C#, Python) Data management and data visualization/BI Content management (e.g. CMIS, Alfresco, OpenText) DevSecOps Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

Skills & Certification

The salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and other needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$103,968.00 - $184,049.00
