Overview
Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid CI Analyst to support a federal government client. Location: Washington, DC. Security clearance required TS/SCI with a CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY. Responsibilities
Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies. Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives. Monitors and analyzes political, military, and economic developments for countries in the Areas of Operational Responsibility and Areas of Interest. Assesses future and ongoing political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country (including the U.S.). Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and senior leadership. Connects information from different sources to form reliable reports on anti-terrorism and national security threats. Assesses believability of information from reliable sources, collects it, and validates intelligence. Performs position-related duties as assigned and requested. Demonstrates mission knowledge and completes developmental training and experiences for the labor category. Communicates understanding from information that may be incomplete or complex, and structures analysis based on reporting trends and multiple analytic perspectives. Works independently with minimal oversight and direction; collaborates with IC members on information sharing and analytic dispute resolution. Develops concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence; leads teams in researching multifaceted problems. Provides guidance in analytic methodologies and uses validated approaches to challenge differing perspectives. Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the labor category, with at least a portion in the last 2 years. Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; an additional 4 years of experience (total 12 years in the labor category) may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
