Overview

The Interventional Cardiologist will contribute to the continued growth and development of our expanding Cardiology program. The time split will be 75% clinical activities and 25% teaching and clinical research. Responsibilities

Perform Cath Lab procedures and contribute to interventional cardiology services with a focus on complex and high-risk cases. Actively participate in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows as part of Creighton University-affiliated training programs. Engage in clinical research and trials, fostering an environment of innovation and evidence-based medicine. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop an academically focused, high-performing cardiovascular service line. Play a key role in building an academic cardiology team, contributing to curriculum development and faculty recruitment. Group Description

MD or DO Degree Board Certified in Interventional Cardiovascular Disease Cath Lab procedures experience Recent involvement in research and clinical trials Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position Ideal Candidate: Passionate about medical education and mentoring the next generation of cardiologists Actively engaged in research and clinical trials with a desire to expand scholarly contributions Eager to participate in program development and team-building within an academic medical center
