Join to apply for the Ophthalmologist role at Seattle Children's. This is a per diem position. Responsibilities

Provide ophthalmology specialty services according to the individual employment contract (as applicable). Coordinate care with patients and resident, fellow physicians, attending physicians, nursing staff, pediatric and other medical and surgical subspecialty services, community physicians and ancillary health team providers. Ensure the quality of all patient care and service, and integration of these services with Seattle Children's goals, vision and philosophy. Required Education And Experience

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree. Successful completion of ophthalmology residency and a vitreoretinal medical/surgical fellowship. Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children’s and other sites as applicable. Required Credentials

Licensed as a Medical provider in the State of Washington. Board eligibility or certification with the American Board of Ophthalmology. Federal DEA Registration. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment. Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children’s will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual’s employment at Children’s. Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children’s as a non-employee in any category for which the individual qualifies. Salary: $161.44-$193.82 per hour. This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided. Benefits
