Save Job

About The Role Ketryx is entering its next phase of growth — moving from startup speed to scale-up rigor — and we’re looking for a

Fractional Head of People

to help build the systems and scaffolding to support that journey.

This role is focused on

performance, development, structure, and scale . You’ll work closely with the CEO to build a high-integrity People infrastructure that empowers our existing team, enables future growth, and aligns with our values.

This includes partnering on:

Performance management systems and behaviors that actually drive growth

Clear leveling, titles, and compensation structures that balance equity and scale

The launch of “Ketryx University” in partnership with our L&D lead

Cross-functional alignment with the business and exec team

The right long-term People resourcing model — including our future team structure

We’re looking for a

hands-on builder

who’s excited to move fast, roll up their sleeves, and lay the tracks while the train is moving.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement performance systems that translate Ketryx’s values into actionable behaviors and measurable outcomes

Define levels, compensation bands, and growth pathways across functions and geographies

Partner with the CEO and board on executive coaching, comp and benefits strategy, and org design

Build and operationalize the foundation for Ketryx University — our internal learning platform

Align closely with the Head of TA, while independently assessing broader People resourcing needs

Guide the evolution of our People team — including succession planning for this role

Build systems and policies that scale across offices (Boston, Vienna) and ensure HR compliance in a regulated, global context

Use data and clear metrics to measure impact and inform decisions — linking people programs to business outcomes

Bring a high-velocity, startup-savvy execution mindset to everything you do

About You You’re not just strategic — you get things done. You’ve built systems in fast-moving environments and know what great looks like at this stage. You’re ready to help a company mature without slowing it down.

You likely have:

Prior experience leading People/HR functions at high-growth startups , ideally in B2B or enterprise software

Proven ability to build performance, leveling, comp, and development frameworks from the ground up

Experience partnering with founders and exec teams at the inflection point from ~80 to 200+ employees

Comfort navigating cross-border complexity and regulatory differences (e.g. U.S. and EU HR landscapes)

A coaching mindset and track record of influencing without drama — especially in founder-driven orgs

Strong business fluency — you can connect people systems to company strategy and outcomes

A bias for action, pragmatism, and iteration over perfection

Comfort working in person in Boston, 1–2 days/week, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time

Bonus: Experience in enterprise software, life sciences, or regulated industries

What We Offer

Competitive compensation

Generous stock options possible

Work in an exciting field with a positive impact on the world

Opportunity to learn and grow as part of a global team

Hybrid work model (mix of work from home and office is possible)

Generous PTO for full-time
