Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a hands on Sleep/TMJ Dentist located in New York, NY and Westchester. The Sleep/TMJ Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating sleep-related disorders and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues. Day-to-day tasks include conducting patient assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, performing sleep studies, providing TMJ therapy, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The dentist may also provide guidance on sleep hygiene and lifestyle modifications to support treatment outcomes. Qualifications
Expertise in diagnosing and treating sleep-related disorders and TMJ issues Strong patient assessment and diagnostic skills Experience in creating and executing personalized treatment plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals Knowledgeable in sleep hygiene and lifestyle modification practices Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of New York Advanced certifications or training in sleep dentistry and TMJ therapy are considered an advantage Seniority level
