The Director – Strategic Commercial Finance (System Economics) will report to the head of Investment Management within the Finance department. The main objective of the Investment Management team is to optimize resource allocation to drive topline growth and bottom-line improvement, enabling BASN and NAOU 2035 ambitions and double-digit topline growth with expanding margins.
The role requires a business-minded candidate who can drive insights from financial and market data, work proactively with the network, and lead the organization toward short-term and long-term objectives to create System value and support sustainable impact on BASN brands and the industry.
Responsibilities
Strategic partnership with Customer and Commercial teams; collaborate with Planning and Supply Chain Finance to develop a robust understanding of Bottler, Customer, Channel, and Brand/Segment P&Ls, enriching mix/pricing/margins analysis and providing recommendations for margin-accretive System plans.
Conduct financial and strategic assessment of System economic models; recommend optimized models to drive sustainable System alignment on innovation and growth, expanding System and Company margins.
Collaborate with Customer and Commercial teams to develop LRP and ABP aligned with BASN and Company KPIs, including growth planning, trade promotion optimization, and other revenue-enhancing initiatives.
Provide financial guidance for the annual pricing process in partnership with Customer and Commercial teams.
Perform financial assessments (value chain analysis, modelling, ROI, cash flow, scenario planning, etc.) of strategic initiatives and deals to support resource allocation with recommendations to Senior Leadership.
Support stretch initiatives, including off-cycle pricing; work with RGM, Planning and Supply Chain Finance to analyze pricing scenarios, contingency planning, and implications for margins, volume, and KPIs.
Collaborate with key partners to streamline processes, strengthen governance, and drive change management; lead continuous improvement and transformational ideas to grow topline and bottom line for NAOU Sports.
Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree strongly preferred.
8+ years of financial management experience in Commercial, Franchise, Customer Finance, Strategy, or M&A roles.
Hybrid presence in Whitestone, NY office required (in-person Tue–Thu).
Mastery of financial analysis tools, including financial modelling, DCF and other valuation methods, ROI assessment, scenario planning, and corporate finance reporting.
Experience with NAOU and global Company tools and systems relevant to this role.
Strong understanding of customer and bottler P&L management, revenue growth management capabilities, forecasting, and trade spend effectiveness; understanding of TCCC RGM framework, OBPPC strategy, and Leader/Challenger/Explorer framework.
Deep understanding of TCCC System economics and business models in NAOU with key processes to drive System alignment.
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership to influence business decisions with key partners.

Pay Range: $148,000 - $169,000. Base pay may vary by geography, knowledge, skills, and experience. Benefits are offered where applicable. Annual Incentive Reference Value: 30%.
