Job Summary

The Project Director position is responsible for managing and coordinating projects of all sizes and complexities through all phases of design, permitting and construction. Project Directors provide leadership for site Project Managers by managing, coordinating, and developing ATI staff. They assume complete responsibility for project financials including establishing payment terms and collection of outstanding payments, and operate with significant independence as the principal project representative. Senior and Executive Project Directors have additional responsibilities of managing and mentoring assigned Project Estimators. Principal Responsibilities

Job Duties (Including, But Not Limited To) Review projects to ensure that scope is clearly documented and understood by the customer. Establish a budget for each project that ensures completion at budgeted gross margins. Assume overall responsibility for project financials including pricing, costs, margins and budget creation. Establish payment terms, including progress billings and deductible payments in accordance with ATI best practices. Direct/Instruct Project Managers on project-established payment terms and collection of outstanding amounts. Assume responsibility for collecting all project outstanding accounts receivable (A/R) payments, directly or through internal partnerships with Legal and Collections. Manage and provide mentorship to Project Estimators, including but not limited to: Review job financial performance and provide improvement insights. Conduct joint job walks. Administer 360-degree reviews at job level. Ensure compliance with TPA requirements and strong POM scores. Conduct annual performance reviews and identify training/development opportunities. Reward, motivate, and address disciplinary matters as needed. Note: the above sub-duties are limited to Senior and Executive PDs only. Establish a feasible completion schedule agreed with the customer. Acquire, direct and manage subcontractors to complete work as necessary; prepare and negotiate subcontractor agreements within Company guidelines. Review and inspect work to ensure quality. Communicate with the customer via email, the assigned Project Manager, and A/R regarding project status. Work with the customer to complete change orders as needed. Prepare and complete punch list items at project end if applicable. Secure a certificate of satisfaction at project conclusion. Resolve conflicts, warranty issues and other complaints as needed. Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and all Company safety policies, as well as other policies. Participate in Company-sponsored marketing functions and events and uphold all Company policies and safety standards. Perform other related duties as required. Project Authorization

Project Directors: projects up to $250,000 in value. Senior and Executive Project Directors: no limits (responsible for generating their own business). Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Required experience: 5 years restoration experience. 3+ years of experience as an Estimator or Project Manager with a disaster restoration company; knowledge/experience in water mitigation, fire restoration and mold remediation. 2+ years of experience as a Project Director with excellent performance ratings in two most recent performance reviews prior to promotion (Senior Product Director only). 3+ years of experience as a Senior Project Director with excellent performance ratings in two most recent performance reviews prior to promotion (Executive Product Director only). Certifications

IICRC certification (all levels) Project Directors Xactimate Level 1 Senior Project Directors: Xactimate Level 2 Executive Project Directors: Xactimate Level 3 Competencies

Must be able to work without supervision. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. Knowledge of practices and procedures in water, fire, and mold trades. Ability to read, interpret and communicate instructions clearly. Ability to train and supervise employees (Senior and Executive PDs). Ability to exercise judgment and act decisively. Management skills (Senior and Executive PDs). Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Strong multi-tasking abilities and ability to prioritize work. Reliable and punctual. Experience identifying, negotiating with and managing stakeholders. Commitment to high professional ethical standards. Ability to handle emotional customer situations promptly and professionally.
