Overview
EODS Supervisor, Operations Officer I (NCS) - Baltimore Police Department Base pay range: $70,338.00/yr - $112,807.00/yr. This is a non-civil service position. Starting Pay: $70,338.00 Annually. Salary and benefits are described in the job posting. Note: Grant positions are not eligible for retirement benefits. Essential Functions
Serves as primary lead on the management of all investigations surrounding equal opportunity or diversity related complaints, claims of discrimination based on a protected class, claims of harassment based on a protected class or characteristics, and coordination with the EEOC for all external complaints regarding discrimination. Supervises a team of departmental members to complete all investigations of BPD members for claims of harassment, discrimination or EEOC complaints and reviews the work product to ensure investigations are completed. Serves as a senior advisor to the Police Commissioner on all Departmental matters related to policies that impact diversity, equity, claims of retaliation, or discrimination. Coordinates with Deputy Commissioners and the Chief of Staff to ensure that the goals set forth in the Police Commissioner’s strategic vision for the Department are being implemented. Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. OR
Have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of laws related to Title 6-Civil Rights Act. Proficiency with Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook). Additional Information
