Overview
We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Senior Product Manager for Alarm System products. The selected candidate will have around 5+ years of experience in product development and management, especially in smart home products. You will lead our alarm system product categories, including detectors, bases, sirens, and related accessories such as keypads, key fobs, and sounders. As the Product Director, you will conduct product research and define products for the global market. You will be responsible for product line planning and driving its growth. Responsibilities also include planning paid services to align with customer expectations and market competitiveness. Your work will help develop competitive products that meet the needs of users worldwide. User Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis of global users’ home environments to understand real needs and use these insights to develop innovative product features that enhance the user experience. Competitive Analysis: Quickly assess and summarize competitor product features; provide targeted recommendations to differentiate TP-Link’s smart home offerings and stay ahead of the competition. Technology Research and Innovation: Explore new technologies that enhance user experience and apply innovations to improve product competitiveness. Product Definition and Roadmap Planning (Core Responsibility): Define market-leading alarm system products using market research, user feedback, and technology trends; develop product roadmaps and planning for iterations and feature development; create comprehensive product requirement documents to guide design and development teams. Communication and Collaboration: Articulate product features, user value, and competitive advantages; collaborate with TP-Link’s product team for refinement and with development teams in China and the United States to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Sales and Operations Support: Collaborate with the global sales team to create monthly product production plans and adjust based on sales and competitive conditions; monitor and optimize user feedback post-launch to refine products. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. Proven experience in product planning, definition, and management across the full product lifecycle from concept to market launch. Strong technical understanding and ability to engage in technical decision-making. Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with smart home security products, particularly alarm system related products. A strong technical background and ability to provide technical direction throughout product development. Deep customer empathy with the ability to identify and act on the smallest details to drive meaningful product innovation. Salary and Benefits
