Senior Software Engineer, Stats & Analytics - Platform Services at StackAdapt. The Stats & Analytics team solves complex distributed system challenges focusing on scalability, performance, reliability, and data consistency. The team uses a modern tech stack including Golang, TiDB, Redshift, Snowflake, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and HDFS. About The Platform Services Team
The Platform Services subteam works closely with product managers and web platform teams to deliver reporting and analytics features for clients. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining reporting databases, building data pipelines, and developing APIs for reporting data with low latency and high reliability. The team also leads initiatives to rearchitect data pipelines, improve data freshness, and optimize query performance. What You7ll Be Doing
Lead projects by partnering with product and engineering teams across requirements, design, implementation, and delivery Build highly scalable, distributed real-time microservices primarily written in Go Work with large data sets in TiDB, Redshift, Vitess, and Elasticsearch with future opportunities to work with ClickHouse, Pinot, and Iceberg Develop latency-sensitive APIs for dashboards and reporting Optimize pipelines, queries, and data models for performance and efficiency We7ll Be Reaching Out To Candidates That Have
5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer Interest in working with product teams to refine requirements and deliver features Experience building scalable micro-services and distributed systems Strong problem solving skills in data structures, algorithms, and optimization Hands-on experience working with relational databases and/or key-value stores Bonus: Experience interpreting and working with data StackAdapts Benefits
