$125,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Benefits

Additional paid sick leave is provided if required by state or local law. Summary of Position
This engineer will design, integrate, and validate electrical/avionics test racks for use in satellite hardware testing. The role ensures racks are electrically sound, calibrated, and standards-compliant before release to customer use. Essential Functions
Design and validate avionics/electrical test racks and harnessing. Conduct calibration, noise testing, and compliance checks (MIL-STD-461, DO-160). Validate rack instrumentation, grounding, shielding, and power distribution. Support rack integration, trial-run testing, and troubleshooting. Document test rack validation procedures and results. Collaborate with software engineers on rack automation and control systems. Interface with customers for acceptance testing. Competencies

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods and occasionally move about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The role requires frequent computer and office equipment use and may involve moving equipment and boxes up to 25 lbs. Required Education And Experience
Bachelor’s in Electrical or Avionics Engineering; 5+ years aerospace/avionics test equipment experience Qualifications
Hands-on experience with instrumentation, harnessing, and power distribution. Familiarity with EMI/EMC testing requirements Preferred Qualifications
Master’s in Electrical Engineering. Experience with automated test systems and scripting. Knowledge of calibration and certification standards. Other Requirements
Onsite in Redmond, WA; lab presence required. Occasional travel (≤10%). AAP/EEO Statement
