highly skilled, Python-focused DevOps Engineer
to join our Chicago office. This is an
on-premises, low-latency systems role —minimal cloud work—where you’ll work side-by-side with traders, developers, and infrastructure engineers to design, automate, and fine-tune the systems that power our trading strategies. What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain Python-based automation tools to support trading and infrastructure systems. Optimize Linux-based, on-prem environments for maximum performance and reliability. Lead performance and latency testing for mission-critical trading applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact technical improvements. Serve as a mentor and technical leader, guiding junior engineers toward best practices. Required
5+ years of Linux use and administration experience. Expert-level Python programming skills with a track record of building automation tools. Proven leadership and mentoring abilities. Nice-to-Have
Experience with accelerated network adapters. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. Strong background in performance testing and tuning. Experience with latency-sensitive applications on Linux.
