NIH/NIAID Enterprise Architect role at ECS. Remote work. This position is contingent upon contract award. Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture: Develop and present areas for growth and development of OEB's technology offerings; assist with strategic planning for OEB Infrastructure services programs to meet NIH mission and business requirements; experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher); lead, mentor, and guide engineering teams to ensure adherence to best practices; maintain relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Agile SAFe, DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, CMMI); experience with development automation (GitOps, GitLab, or GitHub); familiarity with HHS Enterprise Life Cycle (ELPC) methodology. Reporting and Communication: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of technical strategy and other relevant information; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of technical strategy and resolve issues. Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with team members to ensure effective technical strategy management and delivery; work with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of technical strategy. Deliverables: Reports on technical strategy and alignment with NIH mission and business requirements; strategic plans for OEB Infrastructure services programs. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field. Active Public Trust or higher security clearance. Minimum 10 years’ experience supporting Health IT software development initiatives leveraging Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices leading cross-functional teams. Experience installing, configuring, and integrating custom solutions, COTS, GOTS, and FOSS into a larger collection of services and systems. PMP Certification. Reside within the Washington DC Metro area and be able to travel within the Washington DC Metro Area, and CONUS as needed. Salary Range: $130,000 - $190,000. Desired Skills

Documented experience with Project Management, Agile Coaching, Business Process Analysis, and Organizational Change Management. Experience with industry best practices as articulated by PMI, Lean IT, Agile practices, DevOps and ITIL as appropriate. Experience with microservices and containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage (Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher). Ability to lead, mentor, and guide engineering teams to ensure adherence to best practices. Relevant Certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Agile SAFe, DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, CMMI). Experience with development automation, including GitOps, GitLab, or GitHub. Familiar with HHS Enterprise Life Cycle (ELPC) methodology.
