Overview

The UKG Integration Specialist will work on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integrations for UKG applications (Workforce Central, Workforce Dimensions, UKG Pro, etc.). Depending on level, responsibilities range from hands-on configuration and troubleshooting to leading strategic integration design and mentoring junior team members. Base pay range $55.00/hr - $90.00/hr This range is provided by Wimmer Solutions. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrations between UKG applications and HR, payroll, timekeeping, scheduling, and other enterprise systems. Work with APIs, middleware, and data transformation tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of integration workflows. Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Ensure integration solutions comply with organizational policies, security requirements, and industry standards. Lead overall integration strategy and roadmap for UKG systems. Provide thought leadership, best practices, and architectural guidance. Serve as a subject matter expert and executive advisor for complex integration programs. Mentor and guide Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Associates. Senior Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end integration projects, from design to implementation. Conduct requirements gathering and solution design workshops with stakeholders. Oversee complex integration builds and validate deliverables from junior team members. Act as escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning. Consultant and Associate Responsibilities

Configure and deploy integrations under the guidance of senior team members. Conduct routine testing, validation, and maintenance of integration workflows. Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. Support project deliverables, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Assist with integration development, testing, and troubleshooting. Learn UKG integration frameworks and support basic configuration tasks. Provide day-to-day support for existing integrations and escalate complex issues. Document workflows, changes, and lessons learned for knowledge sharing. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience requirements scale by level: Principal : 10+ years of experience in HRIS/UKG integrations with leadership experience. Senior Consultant : 7+ years of integration experience, including project leadership. Consultant : 3–5 years of integration development/support experience. Associate : 1–2 years of relevant technical or HRIS support experience. Technical Skills

Experience with UKG integration tools, APIs, and middleware (Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.). Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes. Familiarity with HR, payroll, and workforce management processes. Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy considerations. Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders. Ability to work independently at higher levels, with mentoring provided at associate/consultant levels. Seniority level
