The Wilshire Group is seeking an experienced
Interim Manager of Revenue Integrity and CDM
to provide leadership and oversight for Howard University Hospital. This interim leader will ensure stability and operational continuity for Revenue Integrity and CDM teams while permanent leadership is recruited and onboarded. The role will also include strategic advisory, process improvement, and knowledge transfer to support a seamless transition. Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day management and direction for Revenue Integrity and CDM team members. Serve as interim leader to ensure business continuity and operational stability. Oversee ongoing maintenance, accuracy, and compliance of the hospital\'s CDM. Ensure timely updates for CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes, and modifiers. Collaborate with clinical departments to validate new charge requests and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Support and lead charge capture audits to identify missing, duplicate, or inaccurate charges. Monitor charge capture processes across service lines to ensure accuracy and compliance. Identify and resolve charge lag, late charges, and reconciliation issues. Assess existing Revenue Integrity and CDM workflows, policies, and procedures, recommending and implementing improvements where appropriate. Support recruitment and onboarding of permanent Revenue Integrity/CDM leadership. Deliver thorough documentation and knowledge transfer at the conclusion of the engagement. Incorporate The Wilshire Group\'s proprietary 8 Pillars of Revenue Integrity framework as part of the advisory engagement, customized to meet Howard University Hospital\'s unique needs. Perform additional related responsibilities as required to support client needs. Requirements
Proven leadership experience in hospital-based Revenue Integrity and CDM management. Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding, revenue codes, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated ability to lead teams through transitions, including interim leadership or turnaround roles. Expertise in charge capture processes, audits, and reconciliation.
