Groundswell is looking for an experienced
Senior Appian Consultant
to provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients. You will help scale the business by guiding solution delivery and designing and integrating Appian solutions into client architectures. You will mentor delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions, platform design, and internal processes to improve efficiency. Who You’ll Be Collaborating With Our Appian practice is led by Appian alumni with decades of experience delivering mission-critical Appian solutions at scale, leveraging award-winning solutions, component libraries, and foundations. You will work with a diverse, multidisciplinary team of creative minds. What You'll Be Working On
Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies Support design, development, and test activities Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to drive technical success Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement Provide thought leadership on process improvement Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Appian solutions 5+ years of related IT experience Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing; active listening to gather key information; analytical and strategic foresight Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task, and work independently and as a team This is a hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote) Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship) Possess an Active Clearance or be clearable Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required
Appian RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB) Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion) Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS
Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP) Data management and data visualization/BI DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence Why You’ll Never Want to Leave
