Overview
Withum Wealth Management is the wealth management division of WithumSmith+Brown, PC, a top 20 national accounting firm. Withum Wealth provides customized planning solutions and investment counsel to affluent individuals, families, professional groups, and small business retirement plans. We pride ourselves on delivering, personalized, conflict-free advice and building lasting client relationships. We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Relationship Manager to join a team of trusted financial advisors in the New England area. Offices are in Boston, Braintree, Woburn, MA and Providence, RI.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with senior advisors in maintaining existing relationships and generating new client opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with Withum Smith and Brown colleagues in the New England offices.
Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments to understand clients’ goals and priorities.
Provide customized advice on investments, retirement planning, insurance, estate planning and wealth management strategies.
Maintain compliance with fiduciary standards, industry regulations and firm policies.
Proactively identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking and existing client relationships.
Proactively engage with clients through regular check-ins, educational meetings, and portfolio updates.
Track client interactions and prepare periodic portfolio reviews and performance reports.
Coordinate follow-up tasks from client meetings, record meeting notes in CRM, complete investment tasks, and correspond with clients.
Contribute to firm growth through practice development, thought leadership and referral initiatives.
Provide asset management solutions, including tax-efficient strategies, withdrawal planning, portfolio rebalancing, and new portfolio implementations.
With the client experience team, handle client service responsibilities including regular client communications, client requests, and account reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in financial planning, wealth management or investment advisory.
Relevant licenses and designations (Series 66).
Strong understanding of markets, investment products, financial planning and wealth management strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills, including ability to learn in-house software (CRM, portfolio accounting systems, trading, rebalancing, and financial planning software).
Client-first attitude; highly motivated; team player; strong organizational skills.
