Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a trusted advisor to management on HR matters, supporting employees while driving positive change. They will identify and address HR needs for assigned business units, collaborating with HR and leadership to create effective solutions. This role offers opportunities to build strong partnerships across HR and deliver services that support both company goals and the specific needs of the business units. Worksite Location
Edina, MN - Hybrid Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 with a 10% bonus Benefits: Very strong benefit package, including Medical, HSA, FSA, 401K, Wellbeing, PTO, Tuition reimbursement, Paid parental leave Roles & Responsibilities
Serve as a consultant to management on HR-related business issues. Act as both an employee champion and a change agent. Assess and anticipate HR needs for assigned business units. Proactively communicate HR needs with HR team members and leadership. Develop integrated solutions to address HR challenges. Build partnerships within HR and deliver valued services to management and employees. Support company objectives while meeting the specific needs of assigned business units. Support business units in Edina, MN, and Anchorage, AK, with quarterly travel to Anchorage required. Work in the office for the first 90 days, with potential to transition to a hybrid schedule afterward. Open to candidates with three or more years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner. Required Skills & Experience
Three-plus years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner; five-plus years for a senior-level position. Proven experience in influencing and coaching senior leaders. Advanced knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices. Expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies. Strong ability to identify HR risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies. Experience in anticipating future talent needs and developing long-term talent strategies. Superior communication and emotional intelligence; remains calm in high-stress situations. Expert-level conflict management skills with effective use of influence to achieve goals. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); moderate to expert-level Excel skills. Experience using HRIS systems; Workday preferred. About Versique
