Overview
Teeple Hall, LLP is seeking a motivated, experienced and engaging Senior Associate Attorney with 7+ years of experience in tax planning and corporate and transactional law. This position will support our Corporate & Transactional and Private Client Practice Groups on an array of matters involving tax planning (income, estate and international tax), entity formation and governance for both business and private clients, M&A transactions and extensive work on corporate and business transactions. Qualifications
General: Work Experience – 7+ years of relevant work experience Education – 90th percentile, graduating class Immediate Opening Full time position Office based work environment in San Diego, California; Remote work environment considered for exceptional candidates Salary – competitive compensation package Required: LL.M. Taxation Licensed in California Required
– experience in: Federal and State income tax planning Corporate and Partnership transactions (Operating Agreements, Bylaws, Promissory Notes, etc.) Mergers & Acquisition transactions (corporate and tax planning) Preferred – experience in: Estate & Gift tax planning (domestic and pre-immigration planning) Soft Intellectual Property (trademarks / copyrights) International tax matters (international income and estate tax planning) Federal and State tax controversy matters Enhancements: Big 4 and large law firm experience Licensed in Texas Compensation and Benefits
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $175,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Schedule
Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
