Utilize established quantitative and qualitative methodologies to collect patient, partner, staff, and/or trainee information for research and evaluation projects. Input clinical and nonclinical data into databases and/or case report forms; extract data for publications or obtain data from outside physicians’ offices; perform literature searches as needed. Ensure protocol compliance, including eligibility criteria, follow-up processes, and documentation. Compile data and assist in consolidating and analyzing data for presentation to sponsoring and regulatory agencies; provide progress reports to relevant parties (data and safety monitoring committee, principal investigator, sponsor, etc.). Recruit and screen potential patients or subjects for eligibility; interact with patients and families professionally; collaborate with study personnel. Demonstrate knowledge of host-institution policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., IRB) as applicable to the study. Initiate and maintain regular contact with patients; send visit reminders and support research participation while maintaining courteous and professional communication. Gather, package, store, and transfer slides, samples, and other materials; coordinate shipment and transfer of materials among departments and laboratories. May complete assessments on study subjects per protocol and follow through with study items and patients as part of the research study. Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree plus one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Good interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems; strong time-management and ability to work under pressure. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with Internet applications. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in science, public health, health education, or a related field. Prior experience in healthcare or research settings; prior patient education experience. Knowledge of research methodologies, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential patient records. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other software (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics), and qualitative research tools (e.g., Dedoose, Atlas.ti). Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to comprehend scientific literature. Compassionate and patient-centered approach; commitment to patient safety and well-being. Proficiency in another language is a plus. Salary and Benefits
